Go have a visit!

Here we go, we of course need to introduce the Traveler!

In previous version updates, Hoyoverse has made some adjustments and optimizations for the use of controllers. Hoyoverse have sorted out and summarized the previous controller-related updates, in order to answer your questions.

▌ Controller Support Information for the Current Version
Controllers supported for Personal Computers (PC): Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, DualSense™ Wireless Controller, DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller
Controllers supported for iOS devices: Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller

Q: How can iOS Devices connect to controllers?
A: iOS devices connect to the controller primarily through Bluetooth. You can follow the information in the following link:

Q: How can PCs connect to controllers?
A: PC devices can be connected to the controller in two ways: ① Use a USB cable to achieve wired connection. ② Use a wireless connection (both the PC and controller devices must support Bluetooth or use the wireless adapter that comes with the controller). You need to connect the controller to a PC device before entering the game.

Q: I switched to controller mode after entering the game, why can't I do anything?
A: If the Traveler confirms that the controller is properly connected and recognized by the PC device, but fails to operate the controller after switching to controller mode, it may be because there are other programs in the current PC that affect the control of the controller (for example, some controller key mapping programs: reWASD, XIM, Xinput plus, Steam, etc.) or an unsupported controller is in use.
If the Traveler is using a supported controller device, try to turn off the program that may affect the controller control and re-enter the game to switch to controller mode.

Q: Other than PlayStation®, which controllers currently support the vibration function? How do I set it up?
A: Currently, only the Xbox Wireless Controller and DualSense™ Wireless Controller vibrate when connected via cable to the PC.
It should be noted that the Xbox Wireless Controller only supports some of the vibration features. It must be connected to a PC with a cable to set up the vibration function.
DualSense™ Wireless Controllers need to be set up to enable vibration by following these steps:

① Connect the DualSense™ Wireless Controller to your PC via wired connection before opening the game.

② After connecting the controller, you need to configure the sound channels of the wireless controller: Windows Settings > System > Sound > Sound Control Panel > Playback > Right click on "Speaker Wireless Controller" > Configure Speakers > Select Configuration [Four Channels] > Next > Select all full-range speakers > Next > Finish.

③ If you connect the controller to a different USB port, you may need to reconfigure the Wireless Controller sound channel and restart the game.

Note: The vibration function of the DualSense™ Wireless Controller is not supported when the controller is connected to the device via Bluetooth. To experience the vibration function of the controller, please used a wired connection. DualSense™ Wireless Controller speaker sound is currently not supported.

Q: How do I change the key bindings and angle sensitivity of the controller?
A: After switching to controller mode, Travelers can change the key binding positions in Settings > Keys. Sensitivity can be modified in the Settings > Control screen.

Q: Do PC games now support DualSense Edge™ Wireless Controllers?
A: Support for the DualSense Edge™ Wireless Controller for PC games is not complete at the moment, but will be optimized in future releases.

And that's about it!

Thank you, Hoyoverse for providing us with such information. I'm sure that wireless controller owners will love the good news!
